The terms that apply when using the Future of Woolton website and public information relating to our projects and campaigns.

Future of Woolton CIO — In Formation

Important

Our projects are actively developing. Property discussions, funding estimates, proposed partnerships and future activities remain subject to the relevant approvals, evidence and governance decisions unless we expressly state that something has been formally agreed.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Future of Woolton website and the public information, campaign pages and online services made available through it.

Future of Woolton is currently being established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). References to “Future of Woolton”, “we”, “us” or “our” include the project team responsible for the website while CIO registration is pending.

By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

2. Website purpose

This website provides information about Future of Woolton, its proposed charitable mission, community projects, governance approach and campaigns, including Save Woolton Baths.

Information about developing projects, property discussions, fundraising estimates, future services, partnerships or proposed activities should not be treated as a binding promise, contract, professional opinion or guarantee of delivery unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. Future of Woolton CIO — In Formation

Future of Woolton is not presented on this website as an already-registered charity. CIO registration remains pending until registration is completed by the Charity Commission.

Pages may describe proposed governance, charitable activities or future operational arrangements. These remain subject to registration, trustee decisions, legal requirements, funding, permissions and any other approvals relevant to the activity.

4. Save Woolton Baths

Save Woolton Baths is being developed as Future of Woolton’s first flagship project.

The campaign is working towards a viable route to protect, restore and sustainably reopen Woolton Baths. No lease, transfer, building access arrangement, reopening date, final restoration cost or other property outcome should be treated as agreed unless formally confirmed by the relevant parties.

Any working funding figure, including an estimate described as approximately £125,000 for an initial phase, remains an estimate until the necessary surveys, reports and project scope provide sufficient evidence for a final requirement.

5. Donations and fundraising

A donation should only be made through an official Future of Woolton or Save Woolton Baths fundraising route identified by us.

Where a fundraising appeal is described as restricted to a particular project or purpose, funds will be treated in accordance with the stated restriction and applicable charity law and governance requirements.

Where donations are not yet open, information about future fundraising is provided for planning and transparency only and does not mean that a live appeal has started.

Third-party fundraising platforms may apply their own terms, privacy notices and payment-processing conditions.

6. Registering support and contacting us

You may use our forms or linked campaign systems to register support, volunteer, offer professional expertise, provide materials, discuss sponsorship or funding, or contact us for another legitimate reason.

You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not impersonate another person or organisation.

Registering support does not create an employment relationship, contract, trustee appointment, formal partnership, sponsorship agreement or right to participate in future works.

7. Volunteers, trades and professional offers

Offers of voluntary, skilled-trade, professional, material or technical support are welcomed but remain subject to future need, suitability, authorised site access, competence, insurance, safeguarding, health and safety, procurement, contractor controls and any permissions required at the time.

Nothing on this website authorises any person to enter Woolton Baths, carry out works, contact contractors on our behalf, commit expenditure or represent Future of Woolton without explicit authority.

8. Accuracy and updates

We aim to keep public information accurate and current, but community projects develop and information can change.

We may update, correct, remove or replace website content without notice where necessary. Historic posts or documents may reflect the position that existed when they were published.

If you identify a material error, please contact support@futureofwoolton.org.uk.

9. No professional advice

Website content is provided for general information and transparency. It is not legal, financial, engineering, surveying, medical, planning, tax, safety or other professional advice.

Where specialist advice is required, appropriate qualified professionals should be consulted.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, design, branding, logos, graphics and original website content are owned by or licensed to Future of Woolton or the relevant project.

You may share links to our public pages and quote reasonable extracts for lawful non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution.

You must not copy, reproduce, alter, sell, falsely attribute or use our branding or substantial website content in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or authority that has not been granted.

Historic photographs, media content and third-party materials may remain the property of their respective copyright owners and may be used under permission, licence or another lawful basis.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use this website to break the law, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, harvest personal information, send abusive or fraudulent submissions, or misuse our forms or systems.

We may restrict access, block abusive activity or preserve evidence where reasonably necessary to protect users, the organisation or its systems.

12. External websites and services

Our website may link to third-party websites, media articles, fundraising platforms, public bodies, suppliers or other services.

External websites are controlled by their own operators. A link does not automatically mean that Future of Woolton endorses every statement, product, service or policy on that website.

You should review the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy information before using its service.

13. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website may be changed, suspended or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, hosting, technical or other operational reasons.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Future of Woolton is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, temporary website unavailability, or the content and operation of third-party websites.

These terms do not affect any statutory rights that apply to you.

15. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Where a linked external service collects information, its own privacy information may also apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our organisation, projects, website services or legal obligations change.

The version shown on this page is the version that applies to your current use of the website. These terms were last reviewed on 12 September 2026.

17. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
