Heritage & Regeneration
Protecting and bringing important local buildings and community assets back into meaningful use where viable.
About Future of Woolton
A community organisation built to create lasting local benefit.
Future of Woolton is being established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with a wider purpose than any single campaign. We want to protect heritage, improve community spaces, support local projects and build a trusted organisation that can serve Woolton and surrounding communities for years to come.
Why we exist
Future of Woolton began with a determination to save something important.
Save Woolton Baths brought together people who believe that important community assets should not simply be lost because they have become difficult, expensive or complicated to bring back into use.
That campaign helped shape a wider idea: create a permanent charitable organisation capable of taking on community projects, building partnerships, protecting local heritage and supporting practical improvements beyond the Baths themselves.
Future of Woolton is that organisation in formation. Woolton Baths remains our first flagship mission, but our long-term goal is to create a trusted platform for community benefit across Woolton and surrounding areas.
What we want to achieve
A broader mission for Woolton and surrounding communities.
Our long-term charitable activity is intended to grow in a careful, evidence-led way as the organisation develops the people, funding, partnerships and governance needed to deliver it well.
Community Spaces
Supporting parks, playgrounds, green spaces, public areas and practical neighbourhood improvements.
Health, Recreation & Wellbeing
Helping create and support facilities, activities and opportunities that improve local wellbeing and community connection.
Community Support
As Future of Woolton grows, we hope to develop carefully governed support for residents and families experiencing hardship.
Our values
How we want Future of Woolton to operate.
Community First
Our decisions should create genuine, measurable benefit for the communities we serve.
Protect What Matters
We want to help protect valued heritage, community facilities, green spaces and places that matter to local people.
Build for the Long Term
We are not interested in short-lived projects that disappear once the attention fades. Our aim is sustainable community benefit.
Trust Through Transparency
We want governance, spending, decisions and project progress to be clear, documented and open to appropriate scrutiny.
Get involved
Help shape the future of our community.
Future of Woolton will be built through community support, volunteers, local organisations, businesses, professionals and people who care about the places around them.
